About
Rich Web Applications, Made Simple! That is the motto of ThinWire. ThinWire is a community driven LGPL open source development framework that allows you to easily build applications for the web that have responsive, expressive & interactive user interfaces. Use ThinWire to handle the view-layer of your Java EE (J2EE) application and you'll be able to provide an unparalleled user experience, while at the same time completing your project faster than ever. Just visit our download page and try out the framework.
ThinWire is a community driven project. The community driven model is intended to allow a large and diverse community of ThinWire users the ability to enhance, refine and grow the framework to meet the demands of the community.
Status
The platform has reached a stage of maturity that allows it to be turned over to the users. This allows for a more robust prioritization of features that are needed by developers.
Please feel free to discuss needs, wants, and ideas with the other members of the community in the forums. If there are bugs or features that need to addressed or added, go to the Feature Request or Bug Track links to the left. Additionally, the only way that we will be able to make the changes to the framework is through community development efforts. So, please comment on the functions that you feel you will be able to develop.

Thinwire is a collaborative community effort. It combines the efforts from long time framework users and new enthusiasts alike. We are accepting new developers who can assist in the project. The source code can be accessed via the SVN repository at:

If you are interested in becoming a member of the ThinWire development community, please post your request in the “Developer” forum.
In addition to SourceForge being the code repository, it is also the host of this website. If you become a member of the developer community, you will have the ability to modify the website as well.
